If life is hectic and you can’t make up your mind about which fabulous prize to bid for, you can always bid on the night. Volunteers at our gala dinner and awards ceremony will be taking bids at the guest tables.

Ten nights on a stunning Greek island

Lelia Pissarro – The Four Seasons Suit – Autumn

As the great-granddaughter of Camille Pissarro, Lélia represents the fourth generation of this family of artists. Born in Paris in 1963, her early years were spent in Normandy with her grandparents.
We are offering one of Pissarro’s hand-pulled fine art serigraphs, printed in 85 colours, signed by the artist and numbered. Each edition is numbered: 300, A.P. 30, HC 30, P.P.5. Deluxe edition, without margins, numbered 90. All screens have been cancelled.
Lélia Pissarro has created wonderful serigraph prints in the tradition so typical of the Pissarro legacy, using richness of tones and texture and brightness of colour. She has taken subjects of her native France and the rural English countryside of her adopted home. Lélia continues to express her heritage using her own development of the techniques and style so carefully passed down through three generations.

A Guided Tour for Two People Around the Stunning Stourhead Gardens

When Stourhead first opened in the 1740s, a magazine described it as ‘a living work of art’. The beautiful gardens feature a magnificent lake reflecting classical temples, mystical grottoes, and rare and exotic trees, and offer a day of fresh air and discovery.
After the tour, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch, hosted and attended by Edward, in the 17th century four-star Spreadeagle Inn in Stourhead. The Spreadeagle’s culinary delights include locally sourced free-range eggs from St Martin’s farm just off the Stourhead estate, Wiltshire game from Tisbury and steaks and English beef from the West Country, as well as fish dishes such as Lyme Bay scallops and fillets of Cornish bream.

On a tour of the House, Lord Glenarthur will explain its significance through the ages, show you the Lords’ chamber, where the Queen delivers her speech at the state opening of Parliament, and invite you to witness House of Lords Question Time.
The tour also includes a visit to Westminster Hall, the site of historic trials such as Scottish patriot William Wallace and King Charles 1, as well as the Crypt Chapel of St Mary Undercroft. Westminster Hall is also where the lying-in state of monarchs and eminent politicians takes place.
